- Data residency
-
Boards, evidence, media and search indexes are stored in a local SQLite database on the
analyst's workstation. Nothing is synchronised to us.
- Backup & portability
-
One-click full backup and restore of the whole workspace, and per-board export/import as
a single file. Archives are plain ZIP containing JSON and the original media, so they can
be retained, disclosed or audited without DeepState.
- Credentials
-
API keys and session tokens are encrypted at rest with the operating system keychain
(Windows DPAPI, macOS Keychain, Linux Secret Service). They never leave the device.
- Model choice
-
Bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or OpenCode (Zen / Go) keys, sign in with a
Claude or ChatGPT subscription, use the DeepState managed service, or run Ollama for an
entirely offline deployment with no external AI traffic.
- Network footprint
-
Outbound traffic is limited to the AI provider you configure, the sources you choose to
capture, licence validation, and optional anonymous product analytics that can be
disabled in Settings.
- Collaboration
-
Teams share a board through any folder they already control — a network share,
OneDrive, or a USB stick for air-gapped sites. Every change and every media file is
encrypted with a board key that only the invited devices hold. No sync server, ours or
anyone else's.
- Seat administration
-
Enterprise licences include a self-service portal to issue, reassign and revoke seats,
and a usage dashboard for managed AI consumption per seat.
- Procurement
-
Volume licensing, invoicing and multi-year terms are available for public-sector and
enterprise buyers. Custom pricing above 50 seats.
